Ruins or Relic

Again better late than never.  This topic appeared last Friday on The Daily Post, Weekly photo challenge : Relic.

Relic to me means something of the past, something that may be in ruins but still very much treasured.  Something that had survived the passage of time.

The magnificent ruins of St Paul (below picture) is the icon for Macau.  Surrounding the ruins is an open arcade of (Largo Senado or Senate Square) of shops, restaurants and food stalls selling the ever popular portuguese egg tarts offering free sampling from cookies to fruits to BBQ meats.   This place brings you to back in time.  Walking along Senado Square to the ruins,  you will see old cobblestone floor and old buildings.   It’s forever hustling and bustling.
