Good Tidings

Ten years.  It only seemed like yesterday.

It was around 3pm at Starbucks.

The older lady sat deep in thoughts and sipped her coffee.

She was looking at the younger lady sitting across the table holding a cup of iced frappuccino.

The most challenging thing in life is to take that big step to do the things you want to do and make sure you do it.  Step out of the box and make things happen !

The most rewarding thing is to live life to the full.  Try out things (good things that is), at least once and you can tell yourself you had been there and done it.  Be adventurous !

And the most fun thing is to be able to smile to yourself with memories of you stepping on your long skirt and fell on the dance floor or your first ice skating experience.  Memories, sweet old memories that keeps you young forever.

Two teenage school girls came in.  “Excuse us, madam, can we share your table?”

Suddenly you came back to reality, saw the empty chair in front of you.  You realized you were alone sitting on one of the three comfortable arm chairs around a small round table.  The cafe was getting busy with after school traffic.

Where was this younger lady with her frappuccino?

Present-day you meets 10-years-ago you for coffee. Share with your younger self the most challenging thing, the most rewarding thing, and the most fun thing they have to look forward to.
